The Huntington Home Company, Inc. started in 1976 and was originally
called S & H Cleaning Service. Stephen F. Huntington Sr. started the
janitorial cleaning company as a side business with his brother Charles
Huntington. The business quickly grew and expanded to include painting
services and carpet cleaning. Steve Sr. left his job at the Railroad and
concentrated strictly on S & H Cleaning Service.
In 2000, Steve Sr. brought in his son Steve E. Huntington, Jr. as a
partner who worked for the company since 1991. In late 2005 Steve Jr.,
currently the President of the corporation, changed the company name from
S & H Cleaning Service to The Huntington Home Company, Inc. This
change gave the company more flexibility and did not corner the company
as just a cleaning service.
Today, The Huntington Home Company, Inc. brings a variety of services
such as Janitorial Cleaning, Post Construction Cleaning, Window Washing,
Carpet Cleaning, Common Area Cleaning, and Interior and Exterior Painting.
We also specialize in apartment or condo turnover.
